The Alberta Public Library Electronic Network (APLEN), through The Alberta Library, coordinated the CAP program on behalf of public library CAP sites in Alberta between 1997 and 2012. Residents and tourists continue to be able to access electronic services (e.g., Internet, e-mail) at over 300 public libraries in the province.
