Collection Analysis Symposium
Collections analysis can be a useful process to effectively guide decision making for your library. Guests from across Alberta, as well as Canada joined our discussion about the importance of collection analysis and learned about the tools available to assist in collection assessment processes. Vendor presentations supplemented by library case studies allowed participants to critically evaluate the products.

The Federated Search Symposium
Federated searching (also known as meta-searching or cross-database searching) is a technology that allows users to search many information resources from one interface.

SuperNet Demonstration a Success at the Calgary Stampede!
The Alberta Library, Netera Alliance, Bell West and partners demonstrated the potential power of the Alberta SuperNet during an interactive session that created three illustrated short stories at the SuperNet Stampede Showcase in the Bell tent on Family Day, July 14, 2004, at the Calgary Stampede.
